Short answer: we buy Morgan and Peace silver dollars in Greenville, one coin or a whole roll, and pay you the higher of the silver content or the collector value. Bring them in and we will check each one for date, mint, and grade in front of you, for free.

Got silver dollars and not sure what they are worth? That is normal, and it is exactly what we are here for. We are a family shop. Dan started it in 2012, and his sons Michael and Greg are at the counter. Before you sell, it is worth reading our silver dollar value guide so you know what drives the price, or just bring them in.

Silver dollars we buy

  • Morgan dollars (1878 to 1904, and 1921), including Carson City (CC) coins
  • Peace dollars (1921 to 1935)
  • Common dates by the roll, and better dates and key dates individually
  • Certified and graded dollars (PCGS, NGC) and raw, uncertified coins
  • Whole collections and inherited estates

One tip before you come: do not clean them. Cleaning lowers collector value. Bring them as they are.

How we price your silver dollars

Every silver dollar has a floor, its silver content at the live spot price, which is about three quarters of an ounce of pure silver per coin. On top of that, better dates, Carson City coins, and higher grades carry a collector premium. We check both and pay the higher of the two. See our coin appraisal page for how the free appraisal works, or our sell coins page for everything else we buy.

Questions we hear

Where can I sell silver dollars near me in Greenville?

At our shop on Woodruff Rd. Walk in with your silver dollars and a photo ID, and we will appraise them for free and make an offer on the spot.

How much are my silver dollars worth?

At least their silver content, which moves with the live silver price, plus a collector premium for better dates, Carson City coins, and higher grades. Bring them in for a free, exact appraisal, or read our silver dollar value guide first.

Do you buy the whole roll or just key dates?

Both. We buy common dates by the roll and better and key dates individually, whichever way you have them.

Should I clean my silver dollars first?

No. Cleaning scratches the surface and lowers collector value. Bring them exactly as they are.
